Wilderness First Responder course

Stonehearth Open Learning Opportunities (SOLO) provides definitive course in medical training for outdoor educators, guides, and Search and Rescue teams. Includes all of the essential skills required to assess and manage medical problems in the backcountry.



The WFR is 72-80 hours long, and is a comprehensive and in-depth look at the standards and skills of dealing with: Response and Assessment, Musculoskeletal Injuries, Environmental Emergencies and Survival Skills, Soft Tissue Injuries, and Medical Emergencies. Additional topics, such as CPR, are also included.
